A search conducted over a 6 month period by the client produced unsuitable candidates for the position. This resulted in a number of unsuccessful interviews over this period of time. The lack of internal skills for this business critical role, created a potential risk both financially and professionally for the company, if the position was not filled.

After receiving a detailed briefing by the client, documenting the process carried out to date, Galileo was able to provide an instant market map to the client on current candidate flows, market conditions and other information that may be affecting the search.
The next step was to discuss all possible solutions with the client, and suggest a solution to the skills gap.
The solution was to provide a targeted headhunt search of local and international markets for the candidate, targeting suitable competitors in these areas backed up with a comprehensive search of Galileo’s specialist Database.
The Result:
4 suitable CVs were presented to the client within one week of searching. Galileo’s specialist database presented 2 suitable passive candidates and the headhunt search present a further 2 candidates for review.
The outcome was that all CVs presented had the required skills for the role and the best 2 were selected for interview, of which there was one successful placement.
The successful candidate possessed the required skills and demeanour for the position, along with the right culture fit for the business.
