A growing Australian enterprise is investing heavily in the Microsoft AI stack and needs a Solutions Architect to design and land Copilot and Azure OpenAI across the business. You will own the reference architecture and turn a pile of licences into production value.
This is not a slideware architecture seat. The business has committed to Microsoft as its AI platform and now needs the patterns, guardrails and integration design that take Copilot, Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI from pilot licences to systems people rely on every day. You are the person who decides how it all fits together, and you stay close enough to the build to know your patterns hold up.
What you will do
- Design end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI
- Own the reference architecture, security patterns, and integration into M365 and line-of-business applications
- Lead RAG, agent and data-grounding patterns from prototype through to production
- Set guardrails with security and governance teams for safe enterprise rollout
- Advise stakeholders on what to build, what to buy, and what to wait on
What you bring
- A strong solutions or enterprise architecture background with hands-on Azure experience
- Depth across the Microsoft AI stack: Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Fabric and Purview
- Comfort working from whiteboard to working pattern, security-aware the whole way
- Certifications such as AZ-305 and AI-102 are well regarded, not mandatory
