AI Enablement & Governance Manager (Agentic AI)

$145k to $180k + super
Salary
Melbourne, VIC
Location
Full time
Work type

Our client, a high-growth consumer financial platform, is moving to an AI-first operating model: AI agents absorbing routine work across sales, customer service, finance and marketing, built by the business on a governed shared platform. A newly created AI function needs the person who makes that safe and real, equal parts enabler and guardrail.

What you will own

  • Day-to-day, hands-on support for business teams building and refining agents on modern platforms (Claude, Copilot Studio or similar), setting the prompt and context engineering standards
  • Workshops, enablement sessions and an AI Champions Network that turns pilots into everyday operating habits across non-technical teams
  • Monitoring and governance of production AI deployments in partnership with IT: usage, adoption and performance dashboards across the agent fleet
  • Evaluation and monitoring mechanisms, including LLM evaluation logs and systematic testing, with sharp commercial discipline on model and vendor costs
  • Practical AI risk controls: model bias, data privacy, prompt injection and human-in-the-loop checkpoints
  • AI governance embedded into existing ISO 27001, PCI DSS and Australian Privacy Principles frameworks: use-case intake, process alignment and documentation that stands up to audit

What you bring

  • Hands-on experience building agents on at least one major platform (Claude, Copilot Studio, LangChain or similar)
  • A track record supporting production AI deployments and monitoring usage and adoption
  • Dashboarding and analytics strength with working code in Python or SQL
  • Experience implementing risk monitoring or evaluation for AI and LLM solutions
  • Familiarity with AI governance and compliance frameworks in regulated environments
  • The stakeholder skills to sit between business teams, IT and risk without losing any of them

Nice to have

  • Anthropic, Microsoft, Azure or OpenAI credentials; AI governance certifications such as ISO 42001 or IAPP AIGP
  • A degree in engineering, computer science or similar
