Melbourne's enterprise AI build-out is hiring. We are recruiting Senior AI Engineers for businesses moving from pilots to production: retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses and the engineering that keeps AI features reliable once real users depend on them.
These teams measure themselves on shipped, adopted features rather than model demos. You will sit close to the business, take fuzzy ideas, and turn them into AI systems with owners, metrics and error budgets. If your best work so far has been prototypes that never made it past the demo, this is where that changes.
What you will do
- Build and ship production features on LLMs, RAG and agent frameworks
- Own evaluation, guardrails, latency and cost for AI features running in production
- Integrate models into products and workflows through clean APIs and solid data pipelines
- Work close to the business to turn fuzzy ideas into shipped, measurable systems
- Raise the engineering bar for how teams build, test and monitor AI
What you bring
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and/or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, vector stores, RAG, and at least one agent framework
- A ship, measure and iterate mindset rather than a chase for the perfect model
- Bonus: MLOps, fine-tuning or eval-framework experience
